Due to the present Covid outbreak, the Hunterian Oration by Sir Mark Walport on Monday 17 January has been postponed until Monday 16 May 2022. The Presidential Address entitled “The First Fleet Surgeons” has now been brought forward to 17 January instead but will be by Zoom and the talk will tell about establishing the penal colony in Sydney and some of the people involved.
Another date for your diaries is the annual Hunterian Dinner which will be on Monday 21 February at the RAF Club in Piccadilly – details to follow shortly.
